Blackberry Lily, also known as Leopard Lily is a member of the Iris family. Previously classified as Belamcanda chinensis until DNA testing made clear it was an iris. It has beautiful spotted orange flowers making it an ornamental hardy plant that is used by bees and other pollinators. It's root is also used in traditional Chinese medicine. The seed clusters that give the plant its name are poisonous. The 3 foot tall plants are hardy zones 5-9.
Arrived healthy and bloomed the first summer. Absolutely beautiful flowers, couldn't be happier!Rusk
